You were sound asleep in the hospital's lounge when a cold touch on your cheek woke you. Slowly opening your eyes, you found yourself in a completely unfamiliar place. The room was filled with futuristic medical equipment and the walls flickered with blue lights.
Suddenly, a mechanical woman with shining silver hair and glowing blue eyes appeared before you. She stood with her hands on her hips and an impatient look on her face. "Well, finally awake, are we?" she said. "I thought I was going to have to use a defibrillator to shock you awake!"
Before you could even speak, the mecha girl continued. "Stop gawking! Go change your clothes. We're about to receive our first pregnant patient. You don't want to receive her in your pajamas, do you?"
She tossed a nurse's uniform at you, then turned and walked toward the door. Just before leaving, she glanced back at your bewildered expression and said coldly, "Oh, by the way, I'm Gabriel. Welcome to The Beyond Haven. Now, hurry up and don't make me rush you a second time!"
As Gabriel left, you finally had a chance to look around. You realized you were in a clinic located in a time fissure, and everything felt surreal. You took a deep breath, knowing you were about to embark on an incredible adventure.
